The Lord Jesus Christ’s Return is nearer today than yesterday

In researching the Bible for content for the homepage of promotingjesuschrist.com, I found that it was taking ages and there was new things that I was being taught by the Spirit which was not being shared for others to benefit from potentially. Then I realised that there is a biblical principle of urgency, namely, if you hear God’s voice speaking to you, then respond today, don’t leave it till tomorrow. Another example is Jesus said in John 9:4 (kjv) “I must work the works of Him (Jesus’ Father, God) that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work”. Jesus did finish the work His Father tasked Him to do, namely, to speak and do the will of His Father and to die for the sins (wrongdoings) of the world. The Father accepted His Son’s offering of Himself as a sin bearer and in demonstration of that He raised Jesus from the dead after three days and gave Him a position of authority as His right hand Man with the expressed statement (Matthew 24:44 plus other passages) that Jesus of Nazareth will return to earth from heaven, where He is now, to set up God’s kingdom and make all things new. That return is nearer today than it was yesterday. That return of Jesus will come with judgement (Suggest read the book of Revelation). We have an opportunity today to believe (and keep on believing daily) that the Lord Jesus Christ is our Saviour from the judgement to come and time is getting shorter.
